T'ang Dynasty Poetry

I'm leading a scholar-level World Literature class, and heading into some new territory. Our next item is classical Chinese poetry from the T'ang dynasty. I have some critical resources, but I'm wondering if anyone has done activities with poetry, and (in particular) found Leadership applications for the study of poetry.

I have a few ideas, but feel I'm floundering a bit.
